The Silicon Hills were alive and the Texas star was shining bright as the who’s who of digital infrastructure gathered for the inaugural edition of Datacloud USA!
And just, wow – where should we start?! The organizers behind Datacloud Global Congress in Monaco brought their well-known event across the pond to launch a new event experience with American flair in none other than Austin, Texas – one of the fastest growing tech hubs in the US. Top members of JSA’s team were on-site at the event right in the center of it all and are here to say “They nailed it!”
An Impactful Conference Agenda: Sustainability, Hybrid Cloud Strategies and Women in Data Centers
The energy at the conference was described by attendees with words such as “inspiring”, “thought provoking” and even “electric”. Featuring top industry thought leaders from North America and beyond, the agenda dove into many of the top topics facing the digital infrastructure community, from sustainability to supply chain challenges, 5G applications, hybrid data cloud strategies and ESG initiatives.
JSA’s own Buffy Harakidas, Executive Vice President of Account Strategy & Partnerships, hosted a critical discussion about the implications of limited space and power, as well as a second panel related to encouraging the next generation of women into the industry to increase diversity. “Datacloud USA 2022 attracted a very elite group of industry leaders that resulted in some incredible conversations on how we can collectively move the digital infrastructure industry forward,” says Harakidas. “These are challenging times on many levels, and the mindshare was inspiring on what we can do together for a better, more diverse and sustainable future.”
Networking was Alive at Datacloud USA
After the sessions, conference-goers attended some of the best networking opportunities and events. From the opening night reception overlooking the southern-chic Omni Barton Creek Resort to pool-side cabana parties to the Cloud, Culture and Cocktails Party at Thai-inspired Sway hosted by iMasons and the Women Tech Forum, the LIVE experiences were second to none. “It was great to be back together in Austin for unmatched networking,” says Kealey Dorian, media relations manager at JSA. “From meeting new connections to chatting with our clients behind Austin’s beautiful backdrop, Datacloud USA provided the perfect opportunity to converse with the industry’s finest.”

Harakidas was also joined by JSA’s Kealey Dorian and Allyson Whelan to broadcast from the Datacloud USA conference floor via JSA TV Live, a unique live streaming channel that features interviews with industry thought leaders at the event.
