Greener Data to Kick Off the 2026 iMasons Climate Accord Summer Webinar Series

Greener Data will help open the 2026 iMasons Climate Accord Summer Webinar Series on May 29 with a live discussion focused on sustainable digital infrastructure, AI growth and the real-world considerations shaping today’s data center industry.

The opening session is open to all, while the remaining sessions in the series will be reserved for iCA members.

As demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow, the digital infrastructure industry is working through an important moment. Data center operators, engineers, energy leaders and sustainability teams are all looking at how to support continued growth while making measurable progress toward sustainability goals.

This Greener Data session will bring together leaders from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem for a thoughtful conversation on where sustainability goals meet operational reality — and how the industry can continue moving forward with greater collaboration, accountability and impact.

A Timely Conversation on Sustainable Digital Infrastructure

The iMasons Climate Accord Summer Webinar Series returns in 2026 with a focus on practical, operator-led conversations. Last year’s sessions created space for candid discussion around the real constraints impacting sustainable infrastructure, including power, water, materials and Scope 3 emissions.

In 2026, those conversations are even more relevant.

AI demand is creating new requirements for compute, power and cooling. At the same time, companies are being asked to show meaningful progress against sustainability commitments, improve reporting and accountability, and consider how data center development impacts the communities where facilities are built and operated.

The opening Greener Data webinar will explore how the industry can continue making progress — not only through big ideas, but through practical decisions, shared learning and measurable action.

Greener Data: More Than a Book

Greener Data began as a book series designed to bring together diverse voices across the digital infrastructure industry. Today, it has grown into a broader platform for collaboration, education and action around sustainable digital infrastructure.

The series includes perspectives from operators, engineers, policymakers, sustainability leaders and next-generation voices who are helping shape the future of data centers, AI infrastructure and climate-conscious growth.

During the webinar, panelists will explore several timely themes shaping the industry’s sustainability conversation, including:

  • How the data center industry can better align long-term sustainability goals with the day-to-day realities of building and operating critical infrastructure.
  • The practical considerations companies are weighing as AI drives greater demand for compute, power and cooling.
  • The role of meaningful sustainability metrics in helping organizations track progress, strengthen accountability and move beyond surface-level reporting.
  • How data center sustainability efforts can create value for the broader communities where facilities are located.
  • And how collaboration across companies, sectors and disciplines can help accelerate more measurable progress.

Featured Webinar Speakers

The session will be moderated by Jaymie Scotto Cutaia, Founder and CEO of JSA, and will feature Greener Data contributors and industry leaders:

Peter Lantry
Managing Director, Equinix Ireland

Louis Liu
Senior Sustainability Project Engineer, Rehlko

Jim Summers
CEO, GPC Infrastructure

Together, the panelists will bring a range of perspectives from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, offering insight into the challenges, tradeoffs and innovations shaping sustainable growth.

The Real Work Behind Sustainability Progress

Sustainability in digital infrastructure is no longer a separate conversation. It is becoming part of how companies plan, build, power, cool and operate critical infrastructure.

As AI continues to reshape demand, the industry is weighing important decisions around energy sourcing, water use, cooling innovation, materials, emissions reporting, community engagement and long-term accountability. These decisions are complex, and there is no single path forward. But by bringing more voices to the table, the industry can continue identifying practical ways to make progress.

That is what makes the iMasons Climate Accord Summer Webinar Series such a valuable forum. It creates space for thoughtful, solutions-focused discussion among the people working through these challenges in real time.
