Kim Gunnelius, CCO and Co-Founder of Verne Global Finland (previously Ficolo), provider of sustainable data center solutions for high-intensity computing, continues to make news headlines globally for his company’s data center sustainability efforts. Most recently, Gunnelius was named one of Capacity’s Power 100 in the magazine’s fifth annual ranking of the telecommunications industry’s leading executives around the globe.

Kim joined Verne Global Finland full time in 2017 as Co-Founder and CCO, directing and spearheading the marketing and international sales for the company’s climate-neutral certified data center services.
Gunnelius identified and managed opportunities globally as CCO, ranging from hyperscale to HPC to enterprise, including working with the largest technology companies in the world. Under Gunnelius’ direction, Verne Global Finland achieved carbon neutrality in 2021, several years ahead of competing companies’ targets, and is advancing toward a carbon-negative, climate-positive operation.
