Leading global logistics and transportation provider Trangistics is making waves in the data center industry. Since being founded in 2002, the company has been expanding its services to meet the unique needs of complex construction projects, and now have their sights set on elevating logistics services for new data centers and other information and communications technology facilities across the country. This enterprising new move caught the eye of Cascade Business News (CBN), central Oregon’s business newspaper, who recently dedicated a feature article to Trangistics.
As Trangistics evolves to meet the needs of a wide range of partners, expanding into the data center space was a natural progression, as highlighted by the CBN piece. Dave McGrew, director of business development for Trangistics, noted the company’s flexibility in the piece, stating, “Our pivot to focusing on data centers and semiconductor spaces reflects our adaptability and commitment to evolving with the industry’s needs.”
The article goes on to highlight some of Trangistics’ strategic growth and journey based on its decades of experience with a wide range of projects. As the nature of supply chain and logistics has changed over time, Trangistics has recognized the opportunity to face those challenges head-on and provide excellent service and peace of mind to its customers.
While the data center space might be a newer venture for Trangistics, it’s more than familiar with complex projects. The company recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its partnership with United Integrated Services (UIS) on the massive Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) microchip factory — the most advanced semiconductor facility in the country and one of the largest direct foreign investments in the history of the United States.
