A familiar face in the telecom industry has a new role at Vertek, a leading provider of innovative end-to-end telecom solutions for carriers, MSPs, channel partners and more. Jorge Reis, a global telecom operations executive and veteran with more than 20 years of experience, has been named Vertek’s Chief Strategy Officer. Reis is a pivotal force behind strategically growing Vertek’s North American customer and partnership base.

“The combination of Jorge’s entrepreneurial background and depth and breadth of strategic vision is instrumental as Vertek enters its next stage of dynamic growth,” said Vertek President and COO Brad Soutiere. “His expertise and knowledge are exactly what we need to help define Vertek’s path forward and ensure the successful execution of our aggressive North American expansion plans.”

Over the past 20+ years, Reis has helped Fortune 500s to start-up companies drive growth and penetrate new markets in the U.S. and around the world. During his 19-year career at Telstra, he served as COO for the Americas and Head of Global Procurement and Supplier Management. More recently, Reis started a consulting company for global ICT companies.
