Stream Welcomes Chris D. Jackson as New SVP of Operations

When demands on data centers are growing more complex and the solutions that meet them are becoming increasingly sophisticated, it takes strong leadership to ensure a data center provider can deliver great procurement and operations experiences. Delivering a team of knowledgeable industry leaders (that are enjoyable to work with too) is part of how Stream Data Centers sets itself apart. To underscore its dedication to being an industry leader in delivering exceptional data center experiences to global enterprises, Stream announced today that it has added Chris D. Jackson as its new Senior Vice President of Operations.

How Stream Customers Will Benefit

In his new role as SVP of Operations, Jackson is responsible for all aspects of operations — including security, safety, reliability, engineering, customer experience and compliance. His wealth of insight and experience will help him deliver the utmost quality and consistency across these mission-critical aspects. As a result, Stream’s customers can expect an enhanced platform that delivers both the leading services and the customized, consultative approach that they have come to expect.

“Stream instantly captured my attention and made me want to be a part of its team because this company offers the chance to learn from, partner with, and be a part of such a dynamic group of talented, passionate and committed professionals. I look forward to aligning the company’s current operational success into a model that can grow and meet our customers’ and industry’s growing needs safely, predictably and reliably— with a history of successful outcomes to back the decision-making process.” – Chris D. Jackson, SVP of Operations, Stream Data Centers

Before joining the Stream team, Jackson was an instrumental leader in taking highly distinguished organizations from national to global leaders. During his time with a leading cloud services provider, he managed the world’s largest availability zone (which totals in excess of 1200MW of resources spread across 140 data centers). In this time, he was key to achieving and maintaining 99.999% availability. While he was with a competitive data center provider, Jackson also spearheaded growth from 3 markets in the U.S. to more than 20 markets across the U.S., Canada and Europe. He and his teams guided the development of multiple strategic global programs and procedures, which streamlined and enhanced more than 24 global maintenance procedures. This history of accomplishment and leadership excellence will further empower Stream and its customers as digital transformation requirements expand.

Stream Enhances Its Position as an Industry Leader

Michael Lahoud, Partner and Chief Operating Officer for Stream Data Center says: “Chris is a fantastic addition to our strong leadership team, and the talent he brings to the table will complement our goals — and our customers’ goals — exceptionally well. Adding team members with global enterprise and hyperscale experience continues to make a real difference in service delivery and customer satisfaction.”

Today, Stream Data Centers delivers an array of premier data center services that span hyperscale development, site selection, energy services, powered shells, build-to-suit solutions, adaptable turnkey colocation and more. The company is also currently expanding its footprint with a new 418,000-square-foot hyperscale data center in Goodyear, Arizona. Once complete, this location will be the region’s largest multi-tenant data center campus. Stream is also commissioning a second data center in Chicago’s Elk Grove Village — a 32MW data center campus that will soon be ready for occupancy in July.
