Stream Boosts Location Strategy with Oisin O Murchu as New VP of Development

A data center strategy is only as strong as the foundations it’s built on. When you look at that literally, we’re talking about land and site development. It’s true that robust location strategy, site selection, due diligence, acquisition and development are key to ensuring whatever infrastructure or strategy is built on top can flourish and help tenants innovate. Without laying these firm foundations in the initial stages of a product life cycle, nobody can be sure they’re getting the very best solution possible.

Another Former Google Team Member Comes to Stream

Stream Data Centers, an industry leader in delivering exceptional data center experiences to global enterprise and hyperscale clients, is well aware of the importance of site selection and development — which is why it has been strategically expanding its Location Strategy and Development team. In fact, the company has just announced the appointment of Oisin O Murchu as Vice President of Development. This new addition to the team will enable Stream and its customers to benefit from O Murchu’s extensive knowledge of the mission-critical industry, which will help streamline and strengthen Stream’s site due diligence, acquisition and development processes.

“Site development is arguably one of the most important phases in any project lifecycle, as it ensures data center operators can deliver capacity to tenants without any surprises. Stream Data Centers is dedicated to delivering site development expertise that ensures de-risked, shovel-ready sites so our customers can get the capacity they need when and where they need it. Oisin is a fantastic addition that is sure to augment these efforts considerably,” comments Michael Lahoud, Stream’s Chief Operating Officer and Partner.
