The 7th Annual Uniti Golf Tournament will donate all net proceeds to the Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation
Announced at INCOMPAS 2019 today, Southern Telecom, Inc. (STI), a subsidiary of Southern Company, is pleased to participate as a raffle sponsor in the upcoming 7th Annual Uniti Golf Tournament, taking place Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at the TPC Louisiana. Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation (MOHF) is an organization founded with the mission is to support families of children born with congenital heart defects financially, emotionally, and in ways unique to their needs.
“I’ve known Greg Ortyl, founder of Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation, for several years. As I learned more about the history and mission of this foundation, I was happy to have STI participate in this special event.” states Barry Navarre, Business Development Manager of STI. “This tournament is an opportunity to give back to a worthy cause – it’s neighbors taking care of neighbors in need.”

The Uniti Golf Tournament expects to host approximately 160 wireless carriers, fiber service providers, equipment vendors, service companies and more for a full day of friendly competition, delicious food, networking opportunities, and an awards ceremony filled with prizes, swag, and more.
According to MOHF, the event attendees have the opportunity to donate a raffle prize for the auction to reach a key audience consisting of hundreds of business and telecom leaders, while helping families affected by congenital heart defects financially, emotionally and in ways unique to their needs.
