Over the past few months, tech and telecom’s finest have been doing their rounds of webinars and roundtable discussions, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. Though many of these have been based around thought leadership and have kept us virtually connected during these challenging times, Involta, a national leader in cloud, managed IT and data center services, with an uplifting approach, invites the industry to log into a unique and purposeful virtual experience. This not-to-be-missed Virtual PAR-TEE, founded by PGA TOUR golfer, Zach Johnson, and sponsored in part by Involta, will be held on Saturday, June 6th, to support the Zach Johnson Foundation program, Kids on Course.
Teeing off at 7 p.m. CDT, the event will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the foundation’s initiative to close the opportunity gap and place students on a path to post-secondary education. This iconic event will stream live on the foundation’s Facebook page, with over 3,000 attendees expected to tune in across the country.
The virtual event will be powered remotely by Involta’s digital transformation team from its Marion, Iowa data center facility. Headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with world-class data centers spanning Arizona, Idaho, Minnesota, Ohio and Pennsylvania, Involta has been a supporter of this charity event for the past several years. Behind-the-scenes, Involta will empower the foundation to execute the event and expand its reach beyond the state of Iowa, where the in-person event is typically celebrated.
“Involta is proud to continue our support of this significant event assisting children and their families as the gala’s official technology sponsor,” said Bruce Lehrman, CEO of Involta. “Now more than ever, it is critical that programs like Kids on Course receive the comprehensive support needed so that children can flourish. At Involta, we firmly believe it is essential to support the youth throughout the communities we serve. By sponsoring the gala, we will be helping to ensure children are equipped with the required necessities to succeed during the summer, in school and beyond. We are honored to lead the event with the latest technologies and to help raise much-needed funds and awareness for Kids on Course.”
Emceeing the evening’s festivities for the fifth consecutive year is Beth Malicki, anchor of KCRG-TV9. Attendees can expect an unforgettable evening filled with appearances from Zach Johnson and surprise celebrity and musical guests. Moreover, a silent auction platform has been launched complete with chances to win virtual happy hours with Zach Johnson and celebrity guests, sports memorabilia, experiences and signed NFL jerseys donated by Desmond King, Ben Niemann and Josey Jewell, with all proceeds going to Kids on Course.
