Partnerships, Growth and Expansion for Zenlayer in Q3 and Q4

Zenlayer, the massively distributed edge cloud provider, which operates in more than 270 Points of Presence across 45+ countries, recently announced three substantial partnerships that will bring the company’s superior on-demand cloud compute and networking services to millions of users all around the world.

In September, Zenlayer announced its partnership with PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), the largest telecommunications company in South Asia. This joint-venture includes the development of a digital connectivity platform that provides on-demand subsea cable services to the Indo-Pacific region. A leader in edge cloud, Zenlayer has a strong commitment to Southeast Asia, with 62 edge nodes and extensive partnerships built in the region. It has helped numerous global businesses tap into the massive potential of the area with its high-performance compute and networking services.

“Zenlayer’s massive global scale and advanced technology to build on-demand, easy-to-use edge cloud platform makes them a perfect partner for our digital transformation. We look forward to helping more businesses connect into Southeast Asia and local companies expand globally,” says Budi Satria Dharma Purba, CEO of Telin.

Kicking off Q4, Zenlayer entered into another significant strategic partnership – this time with Megaport Limited (ASX: MP1) (“Megaport”), a global leading Network as a Service (NaaS) provider. This collaboration will allow both companies to extend their joint reach to 50+ countries and provide on-demand, private connectivity to North America, South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.

“Megaport’s strategic partnership with Zenlayer makes it easier than ever for our customers to use on-demand private connectivity to power their cloud networking anywhere in the world,” said Vincent English, Chief Executive Officer at Megaport.

Most recently, Zenlayer and International Gateway Co., Ltd. (IGC), a subsidiary of ALT Telecom, a neutral telecom and network service provider, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during Telecoms World Asia 2022 to jointly bring edge networking services to Thailand and the Indochina region.

IGC’s enterprise and carrier customers across Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, and beyond, will now be able to benefit from access to Zenlayer’s global edge network with DDoS protection, as well as high-performance cloud compute services.

“Zenlayer’s hyper-connected global infrastructure and robust Network-as-a-Service offerings make them an ideal partner to power the digital transformation of the region. We are proud to be the first to bring their services to Thailand, ”said Mr. Pichit Satapattayanont, Chief Executive Officer of International Gateway Co., Ltd.

As part of the strategic partnership, Zenlayer will use IGC’s data center facilities to build a new scrubbing center in Bangkok, providing near-source DDoS attack detection and mitigation services for customers in Thailand and connected countries.
