Legrand has tapped an industry veteran to oversee its Data, Power, and Control (DPC) Division. The global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures has announced the hiring of Pedro Mendieta as President of the DPC Division, a part of Legrand, North and Central America (LNCA).
The DPC Division encompasses several industry-leading brands offering innovative solutions for data centers, building networks, and facility infrastructures. These brands include Ortronics, Raritan, Server Technology, Starline, Approved Networks, and ZPE Systems, with the division responsible for the designing, manufacturing, and marketing of premier products and solutions aimed at increasing productivity and sustainability. The division has earned a stellar reputation for reliability, which is built upon decades of proven performance and dedication to research and development.
Mendieta will join the Executive Committee and report to Brian DiBella, President and CEO of LNCA, who previously held the position Mendieta is filling. Mendieta will work closely with the global data center teams to drive all aspects of DPC business, including capitalizing on the growth in the data center market driven by the rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digitalization trends. He has over 15 years of experience in the data center industry, including holding key senior strategic and operational leadership roles at Eaton and ABB, specializing in critical power and power electronics. He most recently was Senior Vice President at Anord Mardix, a Flex company, where he led the global organization and played a pivotal role in developing market-driven growth and operational strategies.
