We are excited to announce today that our own Jaymie Scotto Cutaia, Founder and CEO of JSA, will moderate the interactive panel session at Capacity Media’s inaugural Global Women in Telco & Tech 2019 event, taking place Wednesday, Sept. 25 in London. Cutaia’s panel, titled “Diversity and Inclusion in the Telecoms and Tech Industry: Exploring Challenges and Global Initiatives,” will be held at 9:50 AM BST.
Joining Cutaia on the panel is Ruth Redding, VP Northern Europe for Infinera Limited; Chandy Ghosh, Chief Operating Officer, Emergency Services for Inteliquent; Sarah Mills, Sector Director for Network Operators for SSE Enterprise Telecoms; and Mary Clark, Chief Product Officer & CMO for Synchronoss Software. During the discussion, Cutaia and fellow panelists will focus on sharing actionable steps companies can take to shape diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
“I am honored to join Capacity and fellow thought leaders at this important inaugural event that welcomes our global community to recognize the achievements made to empower women in the telecom and tech sectors, and to share further actions we can collectively take to address and close the gender diversity gap,” states Cutaia. “I look forward to sharing my thoughts, expertise and passion alongside these other esteemed leaders in the industry.”
As per the event’s mission, there is a need to facilitate conversation and share successes made by the telecom and tech industry with the aim of encouraging wider adoption of these effective initiatives and to nurture new talent. Capacity’s Global Women in Telco & Tech Summit and Awards offers a day of engaging exchange and discussion, followed by a night of celebration and distinction.
