KUL RAN has been designed to address extreme edge deployment challenges, including power constraints, service accessibility, and weather conditions.

With its sealed chassis, the new KUL RAN technology has been designed to decrease service visits, as well as reduce the risk of weather and contaminants infiltrating the HPE DL110 components and 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, making it a true “fit and forget” telco edge solution for reliable operations and guaranteed uptime.

Another major benefit of the new technology is its positive effect on energy consumption. In total, KUL RAN delivers up to a 40% power savings compared to other edge servers in its class. By utilizing a precision liquid cooling system, almost 100% of the heat generated by the electronic components of a server is reduced. This not only reduces energy consumption, but also eliminates all water consumption as well. 

KUL RAN can be shipped as a warranted, boxed, stand-alone product – similar to any air-cooled HPE server – and does not require a combined server and infrastructure sales approach.
