T5 Data Centers (T5), the telecommunications industry’s only full lifecycle data center partner, announced Karen Stein has joined its executive team as its new General Counsel. With previous roles in the finance, sports and telecommunications sectors, Stein brings the expertise and industry knowledge to support T5’s strategic roadmap.
General Counsel is crucial to an enterprise’s executive team and their contributions cannot be understated due to their vital role in mitigating risks, ensuring compliance and providing strategic guidance. In this role, Stein will manage and oversee all legal activities of T5, as well as provide strategic legal advice to management. Stein will also be responsible for the compliance, insurance and procurement functions to support T5’s strategy in mission-critical sectors.
Over Stein’s 30-year career, she has held prominent roles at law firms where she navigated complex legal manners and provided valuable counsel to clientele. Stein also was the Assistant General Counsel of the PGA Tour before she began her telecommunications journey as General Counsel of IO Data Centers – a company that would later be acquired by Iron Mountain Data Centers for $1.34 billion partly due to her guidance. She continued on as the General Counsel for CPPG and the Vice President for Legal at Iron Mountain Data Centers before joining T5, making her an ideal candidate to propel T5 forward as a leader in mission-critical sectors.
“With her extensive experience in the telecommunications industry and her deep understanding of the legal landscape, Karen has the expertise, foresight and integrity needed to guide our organization forward. T5 believes in a culture of transparency, collaboration and ethical conduct, and Karen will champion these values while supporting our organizational goals.”” – Pete Marin, T5 President and CEO
