Technical innovations and digitally driven thought leadership are the norm for organizations in the tech and telecom space — we’re constantly sharing the new platforms, products and services that our clients provide that help keep our modern world spinning. However, we’re also keenly aware of the importance of the teams behind these innovations at every organization we work with. At the heart of every company are its people. So, when an opportunity comes along to share a story about the individuals behind the brand, we jump at the chance.
iM Critical, a data center and IT services company shaping the future of IT infrastructure, is known best for its sustainable, powerful locations in Miami (hello unconstrained space and power) and Pittsburgh. Still, at the heart of this pioneering organization is its colorful team of industry luminaries and experts. When Lenny Chesal, the company’s Chief Evangelist, went into cardiac arrest in 2022, his own trajectory of change was set on a new course.
Today, not only is Chesal continuing to bring the iM Critical brand to new heights, he’s also doing his part to give back to a cause that has become very near and dear to his heart (literally).
Nominated as an American Heart Association Leader of Impact, Chesal is raising funds and awareness for cardiovascular disease as a part of a 7-week campaign beginning on September 29. In his own words:
“Despite many advances, cardiovascular disease is still the No.1 killer in the U.S. We live in a country where 50 million people face higher risk of heart disease because they lack the most basic needs – healthy food, clean air and drinking water, quality education, employment and housing. The American Heart Association is committed to advancing health equity – which can exist only when all people can have the opportunity to enjoy healthier lives. We’re removing barriers to health through work in communities, scientific research, advocating for healthy policies and more.”
There are a great many worthy causes in our industry that merit attention, and we’re proud to share our colleague’s work as he supports a different kind of growth, innovation and connection through compassion.
If you can donate to support this cause, we ask that you please do so here.
