Register Now for the Sept. 28 Virtual Roundtable Hosted by Telia Carrier
Fall’s officially here and the so-called spooky season is just around the corner, so here’s a scary fact for you: peak cyber-attack traffic in 2020 was 50% greater than the year prior. Yikes! But just like scaring off ghosts, ghouls and the bogeyman in the closet, knowing a threat exists is the first step, and just after that: having a proactive plan. In terms of cyber security, a strong network is the solid foundation for any good risk mitigation plan.
That will be the focus of a free virtual roundtable on Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. EST featuring speakers from Telia Carrier, a global network provider with the #1 ranked Internet backbone, and the Internet Society (ISOC), a global non-profit empowering people to keep the Internet open, globally connected, secure and trustworthy.
Presented by Telia Carrier, the roundtable will focus on networks and the important role they play in a strong cyber-attack prevention strategy, as well as common questions regarding cyber security threats. Speakers include Telia Carrier’s Chief Evangelist Mattias Fridström, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and is known for his expert knowledge, anecdotes and deep industry insights, and ISOC Senior Director of Technology Programmes, Andrei Robachevsky, a 10-year member of the Internet technical community whose primary area of interest is security and resilience of the Internet infrastructure.
Topics of discussion include:
- Why and what kind of cyber attacks are effective
- The different aspects of Internet security
- The role your network plays in preventing malicious attacks
- Cybersecurity predictions for the future
Fridström and Robachevsky will also field questions from the audience throughout the event, so come and get the know-how for mastering your 2022 cybersecurity plan by supporting it with a strong network. Registration for the interactive event is free and now open by submitting a form.
