FirstLight’s Principal Member of Technical Staff, Brian Kurkowski, to participate in a panel discussion on digital infrastructure growth at The Westchester County Association’s “Digital Future” Event on March 26
A key region served by FirstLight is Westchester County, the second-most populous county on the mainland of New York, after the Bronx. Next Tuesday, March 26, The Westchester County Association (WCA) will hold the event, “Investing in our Digital Future: Exploring the Impacts of Next Gen Technology,” welcoming FirstLight’s Principal Member of Technical Staff, Brian Kurkowski, to its second panel. Mr. Kurkowski will join representatives from Altice, AT&T and Crown Castle, on the panel titled, ” Inside the Industry: Growth in Digital Infrastructure.”

The direct impact of high-speed broadband and wireless technology on economic development, workforce development, healthcare, and our education system; Current state of our federal, state, and local regulatory activities and steps to take to prepare for the newest technological advancements; The value of comprehensive planning to face a number of policy, public safety, land-use and right-of way considerations; and Digital equity and strategies to eliminate barriers to broadband access and use.
