Fifth Annual Data Center Austin Conference Expands to Two-Days of Disruption

The Data Center Austin Conference (DCAC) 2019 will focus on the next evolution of technology that we can expect to exponentially grow data center workloads, including hyperscale, Artificial DCACIntelligence, autonomous vehicles, Virtual and Augmented Reality, and drones. As humankind enters the Fourth Industrial Revolution, DCAC recognizes that it’s the companies behind these wondrous technologies that are driving compute demand. Taking place September 24-25, in Austin, Texas, the fifth annual event expands this year to a two-day summit in answer to popular request by previous DCAC attendees.

“As DCAC enters its fifth year, it’s fair to say that what began on the back of a napkin as an attempt to solve data center conference malaise has since matured into a major go-to event that attendees now count on to blow their minds,” stated Kirk Offel, co-founder of DCAC, in a press announcement. “The speakers at DCAC represent the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame of technology and beyond. These are people who hail from organizations outside the bubble of our data center peers, that challenge us to question received wisdom, and truly drive the demand.”

A free-flowing and open summit, DCAC stands in stark contrast to the commonly static conference model, creating a more dynamic environment that inspires higher levels of engagement among attendees while providing greater insight into solving the data center infrastructure challenges of tomorrow. Rob Sarver, Associate Vice President at Cognizant, a thought leader in the banking and financial services sector who assists companies in their digital transformation, and Amy Peck, founder of EndeavorVR, a leading global Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality strategy and consulting firm, are among the event’s keynote and marquee speakers. DCAC’s title event sponsor is Eaton, a global power management company.

DCAC will be held at Brazos Hall, a historic venue in the heart of downtown Austin’s hotel district. Discounted early bird registration to attend the event ends on July 1. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.dcac-live.com.

In addition to provocative presentations by some of the world’s leading technology thought leaders and disruptive business icons, DCAC is known for its live music, sumptuous Texas barbeque and Austin food truck fare, and a host of out-of-box amenities. Among these, salon style hair blowouts, master barber straight razor shaves, and intravenous vitamin therapy. The founders of DCAC hold that data centers are essential pillars of the Internet, and that every data center professional, service provider and stakeholder should celebrate the invaluable role they play in the connectivity ecosystem.
