DataBank Selected for 2022 Global Carrier Awards Shortlist

This past year has been a transformative one for DataBank, marked by significant acquisitions and growth across existing markets. The company has forged deep partnerships in the wholesale carrier community that strengthen the digital landscape and open the possibility for real-time applications and a richer, more immersive experience for end users. These reasons are among those for which DataBank was recently recognized by top wholesale telecom industry experts who shortlisted DataBank for The Global Carrier Award in the Best Data Center and Edge Innovation category.

Celebrating its 19th year in operation, Capacity Media’s Global Carrier Awards are part of the most prestigious awards program in wholesale telecoms and connectivity. The  Best Data Center and Edge Innovation category celebrates the most innovative product, solution, or initiative related to data centers or edge service provision in 2022.

The awards are judged by an independent, expert panel from across the telecoms sector, all with immense experience and knowledge to help them select the best in the industry. Nominees will be recognized, and winners will be announced during the Awards ceremony, which will take place during Capacity Europe 2022 in London.

With a highly focused and aggressive growth plan, DataBank cemented itself as the largest data center provider in the U.S., delivering stable, consistent revenue and profit growth. DataBank has more data centers in more metros than any other provider, with on-ramps to an ecosystem of cloud providers and a modular edge data center platform that provides virtually unlimited reach.

“We think Best Data Center and Edge Innovation aligns well with our position, our goals, and our continued innovation in the telecom space. DataBank keeps its finger on the pulse of where the market is going and where our customers need to go, and we’re navigating the company to remain ahead of that curve.” Raul K. Martynek
