Console Connect launched a new Access Port service that allows businesses to plug directly into its platform from office locations worldwide.
Edge Port is available in 10 markets, including the U.S. and Canada, and provides a dedicated connection to Console Connect’s platform and network, delivering fast, reliable and agile connectivity between office locations and clouds, applications, devices and other businesses on Console Connect’s Network as a Service platform.
Users can manage and pay for connectivity in real time through Console Connect’s web portal or integrate their services via API, giving them control of Console Connect’s advanced MPLS network infrastructure, a source of speed, security and performance. Edge Port can also be ordered from the web portal, making it a one-stop-shop destination for high-performance connectivity. Businesses can also buy more than one Edge Port, allowing them to privately link office locations worldwide and calibrate bandwidth during peak periods.
“Edge Port brings the power of network automation all the way to your office building and empowers Console Connect users to build their own private virtual networks that can be scaled to meet the needs of their business,” said Michael Glynn, Senior Vice President of Digital Automated Innovation for Console Connect. “With many businesses still trying to understand how to meet the needs of their hybrid workforce, Edge Port gives them greater flexibility and choice with their global connectivity and makes it easier and more secure to access critical cloud-based services.”
The Console Connect platform is integrated with the world’s largest cloud providers, providing direct connections to and between AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud and others.
In addition to the U.S. and Canada, Edge Ports are now available to order in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Africa and the UK, with more countries being added throughout 2023.
