Bruce Garrison Appointed to Lead Bandwidth IG as CEO

Bandwidth IG announces the appointment of Bruce Garrison as its new CEO. Garrison will play a key role in the company's continued development in its three key markets.

As we head into a new year, Bandwidth IG has a new leader. Bandwidth IG, one of the fastest-growing pure-play dark fiber providers, announces the appointment of Bruce Garrison as its new CEO. This addition to the leadership team demonstrates the company’s renewed commitment to providing new dark fiber across its three key markets: the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Atlanta and Greater Portland.

Garrison will play a pivotal role in growing the company’s network as the company looks to expand its footprint by 100 route miles in 2023 from 280 to 380 route miles.

“I’m honored and excited to be selected as the new CEO of Bandwidth IG. The company has built a tremendous fiber platform in a short time. I’m thrilled to be a part of carrying out a strategy that will deliver more critical infrastructure to more innovative customers in our key markets.” – Bruce Garrison, Bandwidth IG CEO

Prior to Bandwidth IG, Garrison was CEO of Kansas Fiber Network, where he led the company through a phase of transformation with a focus on commercial execution and network expansion. Garrison brings more than 20 years of experience to Bandwidth IG. Throughout his tenure, he held key roles with Bluebird Networks, serving as its chief revenue officer, and as senior vice president at zColo, Zayo’s colocation segment.
