Archtop Fiber Delivers Fall Festival Wi-Fi While Expanding Community Commitment

In 2025, a fall festival is not complete without reliable connectivity, and Archtop Fiber is stepping up to make sure visitors and vendors at one of Warwick, New York’s most beloved community events don’t go without coverage.

For the first time, WVT Fiber, an Archtop Fiber company, will provide complimentary Wi-Fi service during Applefest via WVT Fiber’s multi-gig fiber-optic network.

More than 30,000 visitors are expected to converge on the heart of Warwick for this year’s festival on Sunday, Oct. 5. In previous years, cellular networks were overwhelmed by the sudden influx of people, often making it impossible for vendors to process credit card payments and leaving attendees unable to pay or stay connected with each other. But WVT Fiber will make sure that doesn’t happen this year with two separate password-protected Wi-Fi networks, one for vendors and one for the public. Both are free, keeping communications and transactions flowing smoothly and the event running seamlessly.

“We know how frustrating it can be to lose connection at a busy event,” said Diane Quennoz, Chief Customer Officer at Archtop Fiber. “We’ve been hard at work designing a network layout and securing the specialized equipment needed to deliver fast, reliable Wi-Fi across the entire festival area. This project reflects our ongoing dedication to the Warwick community and our commitment to supporting local events that bring people together.”

Providing free Wi-Fi for Applefest is just one way Archtop Fiber has been expanding its role in the communities it serves recently. As students geared up for another school year earlier this month, Archtop Fiber participated in school supply donations at several local organizations. Archtop Fiber supported the Greater Hudson Promise in Hudson, the Boys and Girls Club in Saugerties, Kingston Boys and Girls Club, Hodge Mid Town Center, and the Ulster County Realtors’ Stuff a Backpack Drive in Kingston. These investments in the kids who will grow up to power the next wave of tech, health, arts and civic leadership in the region align with Archtop’s goal of being a true community partner.

Archtop also offers community resources to help residents get the most out of their fiber connections, including Streaming 101 sessions and cybersecurity workshops. In addition, members of the Archtop team are committed to regularly attending town meetings, visiting with local organizations and partnering with community groups to ensure it is aligned with what matters most to the communities it serves.
