As the Official Tech Partner of Saugerties, Archtop Fiber Will Bring Fiber Broadband, Tech Jobs and New Business Opportunities to the Town
Archtop Fiber has entered into a strategic partnership with the Town/Village of Saugerties to invigorate its community with the development of a state-of-the-art, all-fiber broadband network. Archtop Fiber will serve as the Town/Village of Saugerties official partner to bring more connectivity and tech-focused jobs to the area.
“As the demand for faster and more reliable Internet access skyrockets across our community, it is critical we develop the advanced and expanded broadband infrastructure needed to power everyday life here in Saugerties.” – said Bill Murphy, Mayor of Saugerties.
“We are proud to serve as the official technology partner for this thriving community, and the network we are developing will open new doors — bringing the digital world to Saugerties’ businesses, schools, libraries, health organizations, farms and community centers.” – Jeff DeMond, Chairman and CEO of Archtop Fiber.
The Saugerties market marks the first of many new development projects for Archtop Fiber, which was founded by an expert team of telecom industry veterans with a mission to build a world-class fiber multi-gig broadband service platform. Backed by an investment of more than $350 million by Post Road Group, Archtop will play a leading role in the reinvigoration and redevelopment of communities in the Northeast, including Saugerties, and will serve as a reliable neighbor, trusted customer advocate and job creation partner.
The announcement comes as the company begins its fully funded acquisition and fiber broadband strategy across New York’s Hudson Valley region, including the City of Kingston, Town of Ulster, among many others.
