Kim Gunnelius, CCO and Co-founder of Verne Global Finland (previously Ficolo), provider of sustainable data center solutions for high-intensity computing, has been accepted into Forbes Technology Council, an invitation-only community for world-class CIOs, CTOs, and technology executives.

Kim Gunnelius was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

“We are honored to welcome Kim Gunnelius into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes Forbes Technology Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”

As a member of the Council, Kim has access to exclusive opportunities to connect and collaborate with other respected local leaders. Kim will also be invited to share his expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com, and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.

“There is great potential and possibility in a community that brings together expertise from a wide range of industries. For example, when you look at the sustainability challenges in the data center industry, there are many different ways to innovate in a variety of areas, including green energy, which often link to other industries,” said Kim Gunnelius. “I look forward to the discourse in the Council and to collaborate with members aligned to drive a low-carbon future.”

Kim is also a co-author of Amazon best-seller, Greener Data, and recently participated in the JSA Virtual Roundtable, “Exploring Alternative Energy Sources, Power Generation & Efficiency for Data Centers in 2023 and Beyond.”
