As JSA’s Director of Media Relations, Sheetal oversees client media outreach strategy. Her proven skills as a broadcast journalist, writer and researcher allow her to successfully build and develop clients’ brand messaging and media placement. Her keen mainstream news judgment and media relationships have landed JSA clients interviews with journalists from The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times Canada, NBC News, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, Bloomberg News and many others. Sheetal’s additional expertise includes broadcast television, radio, podcasts, website content and social media. She also engages in community and governmental relations on behalf of clients and writes articles, press releases, media alerts, blogs, press statements and more.

Sheetal’s journalism career culminated at MSNBC, where she produced live television news for the 24-hour news network. During her tenure, Sheetal covered some of the most significant stories of our time and received special Emmy recognition from the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences for breaking news coverage of the September 11th attacks.

Sheetal also worked to engage social media fans and followers for the digital publication and podcast series “The Money Pit”. As the Executive Producer of the podcast, Social Media Community Manager and Editorial Manager of the website, Sheetal was responsible for all editorial content across all platforms.

Sheetal has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and Electronic Communications from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), with a minor study in Journalism. Sheetal is happily married with  two children pursuing college degrees. She lives in beautiful Monmouth County, New Jersey where she enjoys entertaining friends and family, visits to the nearby Jersey Shore and being an active parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church. Sheetal was also elected to her school district’s Board of Education.
