Employing analytics to inform editorial calendar decisions, Emily used SEO-optimized content to engage with more than 2.5 million social media followers and millions of website visitors each year.
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in communication with a specialty in journalism and a minor in multimedia from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. Following graduation, she honed her writing skills as an education reporter for her hometown newspaper in Harrisonburg, Va., which she also credits for her detail-oriented nature. An avid concert goer and firm believer in the adage, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” Emily has been to hundreds of live performances and has twice attended the world’s longest yard sale. Concert posters and thrifted treasures decorate her home in Marietta, Ga., where she resides with her boyfriend, Matt.
