Stream Data Centers has commenced construction on 3 MW of fully commissioned critical infrastructure and 35,000 square feet of raised-floor data hall space in its Chicago I facility. This represents the first phase of data center improvements, which will ultimately total 15 MW’s and 70,000 square feet of data hall space, and will be ready for service in the 2nd quarter of 2020. This project will convert the existing powered shell in the Elk Grove Village area of Chicago into a turnkey hyperscale space.
