South Reach Networks’ New Product Suite Supports Triple Play Providers to Address Growing Fiber-to-the-Home Demand along Florida’s East Coast

As Florida’s residential landscape continues to evolve, the demand for high-speed internet is at an all-time high. South Reach Networks (SRN) is stepping up to meet this demand with a newly optimized product suite designed specifically for the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) industry. This latest offering from SRN is tailored to support both existing and new triple-play providers, making it easier for them to deliver reliable fiber connectivity to Homeowners Association (HOA) communities and other residential developments along Florida’s East Coast.

SRN’s approach is all about customization and efficiency. By optimizing their network infrastructure, they’ve created a flexible framework that allows for tailored interconnect solutions. This means that FTTH providers can extend their networks to reach HOA clusters and other communities without the need to build new infrastructure, speeding up rollout times and reducing costs. This is particularly important in Florida, where nearly 45% of homes are part of an HOA—more than double the national average.

This announcement follows SRN’s recent partnership with Windstream Wholesale, where they joined the Beach Route Dark Fiber Alliance. This collaboration resulted in a 360-mile extension of the southern portion of the Beach Route, connecting Jacksonville to Miami. The total route now spans nearly 1,400 miles from Ashburn, Virginia, to Miami, offering SRN the ability to serve a broader range of customers with increased regional diversification.

With these network enhancements, SRN is now on-net into over 13 strategic data centers and subsea cable stations, with plans to connect with over 20 additional data centers near their existing fiber routes. This extensive network reach ensures that FTTH providers have the support they need to deliver high-speed internet to Florida’s rapidly growing residential areas.

Mike Sevret, President of South Reach Networks, emphasized the importance of this development: “Our new product suite is designed to meet the specific needs of the FTTH industry, providing flexible, custom solutions that help operators quickly and cost-effectively connect to residential communities. This is just one example of how SRN is committed to supporting the key verticals that drive Florida’s digital future.”

As Florida’s demand for high-speed internet continues to grow, South Reach Networks is positioning itself as a key player in the state’s fiber-optic landscape, offering innovative solutions that keep pace with the needs of both providers and residents alike.
