Exciting news at Segra! The Charlotte-based company has appointed Chad Senglaub as its new chief executive officer. Senglaub, who has served as the company’s chief operating officer, will succeed Kevin Anderson after more than 25 years of leadership at Cox Communications-owned Segra and Unite Private Networks (UPN), which merged in 2023.
Senglaub joined UPN in 2013, holding multiple executive leadership roles, including president and chief operating officer. As Segra’s COO, Senglaub has been instrumental in driving scalable growth by leading critical initiatives, championing collaboration across teams and optimizing complex processes and systems. Prior to Segra, Senglaub served in leadership positions at tw telecom, Global Crossing and Frontier Communications.
“I am honored to step into the role of CEO and build upon the extraordinary momentum Segra has achieved,” said Senglaub. “With our strong foundation, talented team and relentless dedication to innovation, we are well-positioned for continued growth. I look forward to driving further success and delivering even greater value to our customers, employees and stakeholders.”
The appointment marks another strategic step forward as Segra sets its sights on expanding its portfolio of services and network reach — currently covering 24 states and more than 44,000 fiber-route miles.
