
Lancium, a leading developer of power infrastructure and Clean Campus solutions for gigawatt-scale AI data centers, has announced the appointment of Paul Dillbeck as its new Chief Development Officer. With more than two decades of experience in energy project development, finance and legal strategy, Dillbeck steps into the role at a critical time in Lancium’s growth trajectory.
With AI adoption surging globally, the demand for energy-intensive, hyperscale data centers is reaching unprecedented levels. The Lancium Clean Campus model is designed to meet this challenge head-on, orchestrating a mix of grid interconnects, solar, storage, gas and other behind-the-meter generation assets to deliver reliable, low-cost power while supporting grid stability and decarbonization goals.

Dillbeck brings a multifaceted background in commercial, legal and strategic roles throughout the energy sector. Prior to joining Lancium, he co-founded Gen X Energy, a Blackstone portfolio company focused on large-scale energy development in the U.S. and Asia. His previous roles include Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Venture Global LNG and over a decade advising on complex project finance transactions as counsel at Hogan Lovells.
Most recently, Dillbeck served as Vice President and General Counsel at Orano USA, where he led legal operations supporting the company’s mining, enrichment and nuclear fuel cycle services.

Dillbeck holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland and a B.S. from Kansas State University.
