After a two year hiatus, International Telecoms Week was back fully in person this year for its 15th anniversary – bigger and better than ever. As a media partner of the event, JSA TV was proud to welcome back to its platform, 1623 Farnam’s VP of Business Development, Greg Elliot, and President, Todd Cushing. Streamed live at the event and on LinkedIn, Todd and Greg sat down and talked with Jaymie Scotto Cutaia, Founder and CEO of JSA, to discuss 1623 Farnam’s latest news and what’s in store for them in 2022 and beyond.
Hot Topics Included:
Todd shared the company’s much anticipated ‘Meet in the Middle’ event, coming up on September 22nd in Omaha, Nebraska. Attendees can expect to participate in various activities including a scavenger hunt, golf, and lots of socializing and networking the day before and the day of the event. ‘Meet in the Middle’ was adopted by 1623 Farnam as a way to stay connected to customers and potential customers. ‘Meet in the Middle’ isn’t the only event on the horizon for 1623 though. The team is hosting its first ever MidWest Peering exchange in Des Moines, Iowa that is slated for July. The Peering Exchange will be the perfect opportunity for the Midwest and other US Peering Exchanges to get together and network on all things peering. For information on this event, email Greg Elliot at [email protected].
There’s a lot to be excited about in 2022 and beyond for 1623. Interconnection is on the forefront of the company’s minds and continuing to grow their ecosystem is THE goal. 1623’s location in the center of the U.S. is a hot area with more new hyperscale and cloud builds expected, and an announcement of another Google facility is on the way. This paves the way for increased connectivity and peering options in the Omaha Metro area and at their interconnected facility.
