Elea Data Centers has joined Infrastructure Masons (iMasons) as a Global Partner, expanding their relationship from a regional partnership that began in late 2024.
In conjunction with the partnership, the two have launched the iMasons Rio de Janeiro Local Chapter, which aligns with Elea’s Rio AI City project. This project represents up to 3.2GW of energy capacity for AI and cloud computing infrastructure in Brazil, located within Rio de Janeiro’s Olympic Park, as one of Latin America’s largest digital infrastructure projects.
Elea’s President and Founder, Alessandro Lombardi, has also been appointed to the iMasons Advisory Council. Alessandro brings over 20 years of industry experience in private equity, corporate finance, and business development in digital infrastructure to the Council.
“Advancing our partnership with iMasons to Global Partner is one of the many strategic initiatives that reinforce our dedication to expanding our positive impact throughout Brazil and beyond. Rio AI City is born with energy, connectivity, and the power to attract the minds shaping the future, placing Brazil and Rio at the heart of global digital transformation,” said Lombardi.
With Brazil emerging as a critical international connectivity hub, this partnership positions Rio de Janeiro at the heart of global digital transformation while maintaining focus on environmental responsibility and social impact across the region.
