PTC’25 returns to Honolulu January 19 – 22, inviting attendees to connect with global telecom leaders, gain cutting-edge industry insights, and enhance their professional networks.
JSA interviewed PTC’s Carolyn Pohl to learn key tips on how attendees can make the most of this year’s PTC’25.
JSA: What makes the PTC’25 conference a must-do event?
CP: PTC’25 is the premier event for digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and ICT professionals, delivering cutting-edge insights on key trends such as AI, data centers, and submarine cables. As the only industry event encompassing every vertical in one place, it features thought leadership from top global experts and offers unparalleled opportunities to connect, collaborate, and learn in a vibrant, dynamic setting.
JSA: How do you suggest PTC’25 attendees approach their personal agendas?
CP: Attendees should leverage tools like the PTC Mobile App and PTC’25 website to customize their schedules, prioritize key sessions, and set up meetings with fellow attendees. With so many valuable sessions and opportunities to connect and collaborate, it’s essential to plan ahead to maximize learning and networking.
JSA: How can PTC’25 attendees optimize networking opportunities?
CP: Networking is at the heart of PTC’25. Attendees should bring plenty of business cards, reserve tables at popular spots like the Tapa Bar, and use the Mobile App to connect with other participants. PTC Members are invited to attend the Members’ Soiree and all PTC’25 attendees are encouraged to attend the Opening Reception, Barstool Pitch, and PTC Awards Breakfast Ceremony to engage with industry peers.
JSA: What are some of the key locations within the PTC’25 conference venue?
CP: Key areas within the conference venue include the Center Stage, located in Tapa 1 and 2, where high-profile discussions will take place on Monday and Tuesday morning at PTC’25. The Membership Lounge is now located in the Rainbow Lanai and is a dedicated space for member meetings and networking opportunities. The Tapa Bar serves as a key gathering place for connecting with other industry professionals and will also host the exciting Barstool Pitch event at its stage. Additionally, the Coral Lounge in the Mid Pacific Conference Center serves as the registration check-in area and the gateway to the PTC HUB, where attendees can connect with exhibitors, as well as attend lightning talks and topical sessions.
