Prime Data Centers Appoints Kristen Bejarano Vice President of Construction

Big news coming out of the Golden City from Prime Data Centers. Kristen Bejarano has been named Prime’s Vice President of Construction, strengthening Prime’s position in the data center world as well as adding diversity to a male-dominated industry

More on Kristen Bejarano: A Construction and Design Executive

In her role, Bejarano will lead the strategic planning, design and construction of Prime’s data center infrastructure solutions globally. She brings an impressive list of credentials to Prime, including more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale construction projects totaling more than $1.5 billion in both the private and public sectors. Before joining Prime, Bejarano served an impressive tenure with one of the largest construction companies in the United States, Sundt, on various commercial projects, including federal design-builds, hospitality, commercial development and mission-critical data center projects.

It’s Time For Change

One recent report found that “three-quarters of operators reported that their data center workforce is around 10% women or less”. While the gender imbalance is nothing new, companies like Prime Data Centers are taking an active role in expanding their hiring base by adding more diversity across teams.

“Diversity is not a trend or a box to check; it’s fundamental to who we are as a company, and it’s good business. Kristen’s technical expertise in the industry is unparalleled, and with her on board, Prime Data Centers is well positioned to continue its rapid global expansion,” said Nicholas Laag CEO of Prime Data Centers.
