PowerHouse is a disruptor in Data Center Alley, buying existing properties and scraping/retrofitting them into reimagined powered shells, enabling scalable new state of the art space and power in a market that’s been 100% occupied by a legacy data center market that’s getting stale. At its PowerHouse ABX-1 data center location, PowerHouse will be constructing a 300MW on-site substation in partnership with the local energy authority and data center community to further the community’s sustainability efforts.
The JSA VRT forum will focus on “how the past several years have brought on an unprecedented demand on digital infrastructure, as the way consumers ‘work live and play’ quickly evolved during the pandemic and companies around the world significantly expedited digital transformation timelines. While this time period produced many challenges, it also created incredible opportunities and innovations in sustainability to the digital landscape like never before.”
