Greener Data Volume Two Authors Announced

Last year, JSA brought together 24 sustainability trailblazers from the digital infrastructure industry – from all corners of the world – to write chapters for “Greener Data: Actionable Insights from Industry Leaders”

Launched Earth Day 2022, the book quickly became an Amazon Best-Seller and evolved into the Greener Data movement, with a directory of sustainability partners, a series of in-depth virtual roundtables, featured Q&A’s with sustainability trailblazers, live broadcast chats with thought leaders at the top global network infrastructure conferences and much more.

Today we couldn’t be more excited to announce that we have over 30 authors who have already committed to contributing to “Greener Data – Volume Two”, slated to make its debut on Earth Day 2024. So without further ado, here is the amazing list of authors who will be sharing their latest sustainability plans, technologies and innovations in the next book.

Visit GreenerData.net to read the official announcement and find details on how to submit your chapter synopsis for consideration.

Meanwhile, don’t miss a sneak peek of “Greener Data – Volume Two”; in anticipation of the book’s launch, we have released the first chapter, “Measure to Manage: Sustainability Metrics & Reporting in Data Center Networks.” The focus of the chapter is to determine which measurements matter while reducing digital infrastructure’s collective carbon footprint. Compiled by leading sustainability analyst Mary Allen of InsightaaS, the report is a collaborative mindshare with top sustainability experts in the digital infrastructure space, including:

  • Susanna Kass, Co-founder of InfraPrime
  • Patricia Leyva, Senior Manager Sustainability Engagement, Equinix
  • Dean Nelson, CEO of Cato Digital and Founder & Chairman of Infrastructure Masons (iMasons)
  • Shawn Novak, CSO of nZero
  • Vicki Worden, CEO of Green Building Initiative

The chapter is available as a downloadable impact report on GreenerData.net.
