Fidium Fiber recently announced that eight more towns in Maine and one town in Vermont are now able to pre-order multi-gig all-fiber internet. Construction will begin soon on the buildouts in:
- Ellsworth, Maine
- Lewiston-Auburn, Maine
- Scarborough, Maine
- Blue Hill, Maine
- Castine, Maine
- Deer Isle, Maine
- Stonington, Maine
- Sedgwick, Maine
- St. Albans, Vermont
Fidium Fiber’s promise to customers is multi-gig fiber internet without contracts, data caps or hassles. Symmetrical speeds from 50 Mbps to 2 Gigs are available, as well as phone service through VoIP plans and streaming TV service.

Additional information will be shared with the town and residents as the new fiber build progresses, and residents are able to sign-up for ongoing updates. Mailers, door hangers and construction alerts will also be distributed to keep the public informed.
