The Wirewerks NextSTEP Technology™ Base-8 Fiber Distribution Module was recognized in this year’s Broadband Technology Report (BTR) Diamond Technology Reviews awards program. 

Wirewerks’ NextSTEP Technology fiber management system has earned several prestigious industry awards since its launch in 2017, and that trend continued this year with BTR Diamond Technology Awards for both the new NextSTEP 3-Series Base-8 Fiber Distribution Module and for the new NextSTEP Optical Distribution Frame, the industry’s first modular ODF designed to install in any 19” rack or cabinet.

The new 3-Series Modules join with the original range of NextSTEP 1-Series Modules to provide data center and network operators with their choice of fiber management solutions optimized for Base-2, Base-8 and Base-12 network designs.

Also recognized in this year’s BTR Diamond Technology Reviews was Wirewerks’ breakthrough NextSTEP Optical Distribution Frame (NSDF), a completely new modular ODF designed to install in customer-provided standard 19” racks or cabinets. The NSDF’s modular rack-mount design provides manageable high-density in a remarkably small footprint along with scalable pay-as-you-grow expansion, and easy cost-reduced shipping, handling and installation.
