Archtop Fiber Breaks Ground on Multi-Gig Network in East Greenbush, New York

Archtop Fiber is expanding its footprint in New York, officially breaking ground on a new, future-ready fiber network in East Greenbush this week. The build marks another step forward in the company’s mission to deliver high-speed, reliable Internet across the Hudson Valley, bringing multi-gig connectivity and long-term infrastructure investment to a growing community.

Once complete, the new network will provide symmetrical Internet speeds up to 10 Gbps, supporting everything from streaming and remote work to cloud-based applications and local business growth. The expansion reflects continued demand for faster, more resilient broadband as communities increasingly rely on high-performance connectivity to power daily life and economic development.

“Breaking ground in East Greenbush is an exciting step for Archtop Fiber as we continue bringing future-ready connectivity to more communities across New York,” said Jeff DeMond, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Archtop Fiber. “We are honored to partner with town leadership throughout this construction phase, and we are eager to deliver the exceptional speed, reliability and customer experience that only fiber Internet can provide.”

Residents can expect to see crews actively deploying infrastructure throughout the area in the coming months, with a focus on minimizing disruption and restoring impacted areas once construction is complete. As Archtop Fiber continues to scale its network, projects like East Greenbush underscore the company’s commitment to building smarter, faster and more connected communities across the region.
