Promera, the Angeles Equity Partners-backed data center services provider, just took another step toward becoming a global platform. Today, the company announced the acquisition of two UK-based businesses, including Formula Facilities Services Ltd. and Critical Area Cleaning Ltd., establishing its first operating platform in the UK and Ireland.

Together, these investments position Promera to deliver the technical expertise, consistency, and operational excellence our customers expect around the world.”
As rack densities continue to climb (average density is up 69% YOY), this acquisition is perfectly timed to address the growing importance of contamination control across data centers worldwide. Furthermore, this isn’t Promera’s first move outside the United States. The UK and Ireland platform follows the company’s entry into Asia-Pacific earlier this year through its acquisition of Data Clean Asia in Singapore. With this latest deal, Promera now has a footprint spanning Asia, Europe, and North America, positioning it to support hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers.

Alongside the acquisitions, Promera named Jim Harding Managing Director, International. Harding isn’t new to the company as he’s served on Promera’s board for the past 18 months. However, this marks his move into an operating leadership role.
