Driving Decarbonization: Why ‘Greener Data – Volume Three’ is the Urgent Guide for the AI Revolution

As we mark Earth Day, the digital infrastructure ecosystem is at a crossroads. The explosive growth of AI and its bandwidth-intensive applications is driving unprecedented demand. It also creates an urgent imperative for sustainability. This is the crucial gap addressed by the official release of “Greener Data – Volume Three,” a comprehensive 500-page volume now available on Amazon. This new book serves as the industry’s guide to reconciling innovation with environmental responsibility, offering actionable strategies for a more efficient and decarbonized digital future.

Published by JSA, this new addition to the best-selling series is more than just a book, it’s a movement led by a collective voice and practical roadmap. The book features over 75 global experts who are actively shaping green evolution, not just talking about it.

Greener Data – Volume Three dives deep into the most pressing challenges facing the industry, with a key focus on four main areas: the essential cultural shift toward sustainability, the true environmental impact of AI, breakthrough power and cooling technologies, and the power of collaborative industry responses to the sustainability crisis.

In the Foreword, Dean Nelson, Founder and Chairman of Infrastructure Masons (iMasons), underscores the personal responsibility required. He poses a direct challenge to every reader: “What responsibility do you have? Are you choosing the easy path or the right path? Are you being a good neighbor as you build digital infrastructure in the communities we all live and work? Are you leaving the planet better than you found it? Are you building a future that will make your children proud?”

This commitment to change is echoed by JSA’s leadership. Jaymie Scotto Cutaia, CEO & Founder, notes that “Volume Three features the industry’s true innovators — those who don’t just talk about sustainability, but actively shape it. Their collective expertise offers the practical roadmap the AI and data center revolution urgently needs.” Courtney Burrows, Publisher of “Greener Data,” confirms the book’s role as “the collective voice of our industry, uniting leaders to drive positive, lasting change across the entire digital infrastructure ecosystem.”

The overarching Greener Data Movement, a proud partner of the iMasons Climate Accord, encourages and fosters communication, education, networking, and collaboration to help the data center and digital infrastructure industries achieve collective net carbon zero goals. The book’s release drives education and also supports a critical cause. A portion of the proceeds from Volume Three will support Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF), the world’s first NGO dedicated to providing emergency-response telecommunications in disaster and crisis situations.

Looking ahead, the contributing authors will be honored at JSA’s exclusive Greener Data event during International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2026, kicking off the year-long Book Tour.
