Nautilus Data Technologies Expands EcoCore CDU Line to Deliver AI-Ready Cooling from Rack to 10MW

The rise of AI and HPC is transforming what’s possible in technology, as well as what’s required from the infrastructure that powers it. As global data center power demand is expected to climb by as much as 165% by 2030, traditional air cooling is quickly hitting its limits. Operators are under pressure to deliver more capacity without spiraling costs or expanding their carbon footprint.

Nautilus Data Technologies is stepping up to meet this challenge. A leader in facility-scale liquid cooling, Nautilus has announced the expansion of its EcoCore COOL Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) product line. The new lineup adds two robust solutions to the Nautilus portfolio, giving operators unmatched flexibility to design cooling strategies that meet their specific needs:

  • EcoCore XCD – An ultra-capacity CDU capable of rejecting up to 10MW per containerized module, featuring Nautilus’s patented degassing system.
  • EcoCore FCD – The flagship facility-wide CDU, delivering up to 4MW per module, with linear scaling for high-density cooling and N+ redundancy.
  • EcoCore RCD – A new in-row CDU offering up to 2.5MW at the rack, optimized for localized cooling in space-constrained deployments.

This full range of products ensures operators can right-size their cooling, from targeted rack-level deployments to hyperscale data centers, while maintaining efficiency and sustainability.

“AI workloads are scaling far beyond what air cooling can handle,” said Rob Pfleging, CEO of Nautilus. “By expanding our CDU offerings, Nautilus is ensuring operators have the tools to deploy flexible, energy-efficient and future-proof cooling infrastructure wherever and however they need it.”
