T5 Data Centers has announced a strategic partnership with Bitfarms, in conjunction with its latest high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure development. The partnership, announced earlier this week, highlights T5’s role in enabling scalable, mission-critical digital infrastructure tailored to the demands of next-gen compute at Bitfarms’ Panther Creek campus in Pennsylvania.
As Bitfarms accelerates its AI strategy, T5 will support pre-construction design planning and development approvals for the facility, bringing decades of experience in data center design, construction, and operations to the table.
“We’re excited to support Bitfarms as they expand into HPC/AI data center development,” said Tom Mertz, President and COO of T5 Services. “Panther Creek is exceptionally well-positioned for this next phase of growth, and we look forward to playing a strategic role in bringing their vision to life.”
The move follows a broader industry trend, with the U.S. recently announcing a $90B investment into AI infrastructure, and demand for HPC facilities surging across North America.
For Bitfarms, Panther Creek is a flagship site with long-term potential, bolstered by a 1 GW pipeline and strong regional momentum. For T5, it’s another opportunity to deliver trusted, energy-conscious infrastructure built to scale with innovation.
“Partnering with T5 Data Centers represents a critical step forward in Bitfarms’ HPC strategy. Their track record in delivering complex, large-scale data center projects aligns with our vision to lead in next-generation digital infrastructure,” commented Ben Gagnon, CEO of Bitfarms. “At Bitfarms, we are focused on powering the future of AI by delivering reliable energy and scalable infrastructure, starting with Panther Creek. We aim to transform this legacy energy site into a flagship hub for high-performance computing. This partnership ensures that our expansion is not only scalable but guided by operational excellence and thorough execution.”
