LONDON, October 14, 2026 – 3C, a liquid cooling-led data center infrastructure services company founded by former CoolIT Systems CEO Steve Walton, has merged with Datalec Precision Installations, a London-based data center engineering specialist founded in 2012, to create a global platform delivering end-to-end liquid cooling and data center services.
Backed by Longbow Capital, S2G Investments, Apogem Capital and QIC, the combined business brings together approximately 1,000 team members and forecasts $400 million in revenue for 2026. With offices and manufacturing facilities across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and North America, the platform supports hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise customers across more than 25 countries.
The combined business brings together three core capabilities: design engineering; construction, including liquid cooling, mechanical and electrical engineering, manufacturing, and connectivity installation; and ongoing commissioning, operations, maintenance, and facilities management.

As AI workloads drive demand for higher-density infrastructure and advanced thermal management, the combination positions 3C Datalec to support customers across the data center lifecycle, from design and construction through ongoing operations. The company will also continue investing in workforce development through apprenticeship, technical training, and leadership programs.
Datalec’s headquarters will remain in London, with its leadership continuing in executive roles within the expanded group.
