Big news from T5 Data Centers! The industry’s leader in “Forever On” capacity and integrated lifecycle services is excited to announce the appointment of Adam Board as their new Senior Vice President of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). This newly created position is a testament to T5’s commitment to safety as the company powers ahead with major growth in North America and Europe.
In his new role, Adam will be the go-to guy for all things EHS, overseeing strategies and policies across T5’s development, construction, and operations businesses. With safety being a top priority, Adam’s appointment highlights T5’s dedication to keeping everyone safe and sound as the company expands.
Adam joins T5 from Google, where he made waves as Regional EHS Manager, overseeing safety on construction projects from Texas to Minnesota. But his experience doesn’t stop there. He’s worked on massive semiconductor builds with Rosendin Electric and led mission-critical data center safety operations at JE Dunn Construction. Plus, he spearheaded safety programs at CPG as National Safety Director. In short: Adam knows his stuff.
So, why did Adam choose T5? It turns out he’s reuniting with COO Tom Mertz, whose leadership style left a lasting impression. “The chance to work with Tom again and be part of T5’s growth was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” Adam shared. He’s thrilled to be jumping in during such an exciting time for the company, with T5 poised for even bigger things both at home and abroad.
COO Tom Mertz shared, “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Adam. His expertise and track record in EHS are exactly what we need as we continue our rapid expansion. Adam’s leadership will play a key role in ensuring our top-notch safety standards are maintained across all our operations.”
Adam is a certified pro in his field, with credentials like Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) under his belt. His approach to safety? It’s all about building trust and empowering workers to take action when they spot something unsafe.
