Account Analyst

As an account analyst, Samantha or Sam has a passion for connecting results to action. She enjoys the strategic challenge of telling the story of a campaign through numbers and analysis to come to actionable conclusions and strategize future approaches. With an eye for design and a knack for copywriting, Sam prides herself on her ability to take a company’s social media content to the next level and stand out above the crowd. Her daily account responsibilities include ensuring work is providing ROI; reporting on social media, campaign effectiveness, media reach, website traffic, search engine optimization, and more; researching award and speaking opportunities; managing social media content; in-house graphic design projects; inbound marketing efforts, and more. 

Sam obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a concentration in Product and Brand Management from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2018. However, she found a passion for marketing early in life, becoming heavily involved as an officer of her high school’s marketing organization, DECA at ages 14-17. Even earlier than that, though, she found herself crawling across data center server room floors before she could even walk. Sam likes to joke that she “grew up in a data center,” coming from a family that has been heavily involved in the industry, who now serve as her mentors. 

When she’s not working, you can find her practicing digital illustration on her iPad, making jewelry, practicing fire performing, wake surfing on the lake, or exploring trails and activities around the city she resides in, Richmond, VA.
