XKL Introduces its FlexArc Distributed DWDM Functionality at Telecom Exchange NYC

In today’s market, there is a strong demand for bandwidth, which means a flexible and scalable network is crucial for customers. Today at Telecom Exchange NYC, XKL announces its FlexArc Distributed DWDM platform. With this innovative solution, customers are able to distribute bandwidth capacity and scale on an as-needed basis, thereby providing users with flexible network architecture.

Featured in XKL’s DarkStar product suite, FlexArc adds the flexibility customers require for their existing networks. With FlexArc, XKL customers are able to support diverse applications and scale as their need for bandwidth.

“DWDM is the backbone technology for all next-generation optical networking architecture,” says Chad Lamb, Director of Engineering for XKL. “When DWDM is distributed, as in the case with FlexArc, data can be intelligently allocated for metro, regional and long-haul transmission, all while using less equipment, rack-space and energy consumption.”

“XKL products are designed with the future in mind,” adds Joe DePetro, Director of Global Business Development for XKL. “FlexArc is a prime example of how XKL simplifies the optical networking experience. By integrating distributed DWDM features throughout our product line, customers can swiftly and cost-effectively sustain and grow their bandwidth needs, on demand and hassle-free.”

XKL is in New York attending Telecom Exchange NYC 2016 June 22nd and available to discuss FlexArc’s functionality. To meet with a team member onsite, please email [email protected].
