XKL, leading provider of fiber optic networking systems, announces it is conducting a series of private demonstrations for its new 100GE coherent product line, eVolocity, slated for public release later this year. XKL is currently attending the Pacific Telecommunications Council’s PTC’16 conference in Honolulu, where team members will be onsite to discuss the product’s latest developments. The eVolocity products have 480G of capacity per 1RU system and serve as a “bandwidth on demand” solution for added scalability and flexibility.
The eVolocity product line is spearheaded by XKL’s CEO and Founder, Len Bosack, and is expertly crafted by the company’s team of accomplished engineers. eVolocity products use a special technique, which allows for easy allocation of bandwidth on an as-needed basis. Additionally, the products maximize idle capacity of various encapsulation rates for a range of 10GE, 40GE, and 100GE users.
“As with all XKL products, our systems are engineered with the future in mind,” says Chad Lamb, Director of Engineering for XKL. “The market is evolving and spectral efficiency is becoming essential for optical networking solutions. XKL is leading the way for bandwidth on demand systems within the optical networking space and we anticipate implementation of the eVolocity product line to be a necessity as data traffic demands continue to increase.”
