Web Wise Kids (WWK), a proud supporter of Trend Micro’s 2nd Annual “What’s Your Story” video contest, continues its commitment to education about online safety for kids and teens while texting, instant messaging or using social media sites.  WWK along with Facebook and eight other companies will judge online video submissions from teens, parents and education professionals from the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

Individuals can choose to address one of the following three topics in their video: Being a Good Online Citizen, Using a Mobile Phone Wisely and Maintaining Your Privacy Online. Since only the highest rated and most viewed entries will be considered by the judges for prizes, teens are encouraged to share their work with their online community causing them to become part of the educational process.

“We are proud to be on the panel of judges and are excited to see what creative ideas the kids come up with,” commented Judi Westberg Warren, President of Web Wise Kids – where Wisdom Begins with You.

Kids can enter as either an individual or a group (such as a school) for a chance to win up to $10,000. All entries must be uploaded/submitted by 11:59:59 PM US Pacific Time on April 5, 2011. For more information or to enter please visit the Trend Micro, “What’s Your Story” site,
