More big news from Southern California’s Wilcon! The West Coast fiber and data center solutions provider is boosting its Channel Program with a new manager — industry veteran Rex Lehman.

With the title of Channel Sales Director, Rex will expand the industry-leading program, create new tools for agents/resellers and ensure that partners have viable ways to leverage Wilcon’s infrastructure offerings within their end-user solutions. Rex will be responsible for all communications, pricing, strategy, program design and growth that falls under the company’s indirect channel practice.

Rex’s experience and accolades combine to form an impressive résumé. He comes to Wilcon from Spectrum Enterprise, where he managed West region sales channel, achieving more than 100% quota attainment over six consecutive years and quartile 1 among all channel managers. He also earned Achievers Cup in 2015 as top overall Channel Manager. Previously, Rex served as a Technical Sales Consultant for AT&T. Overall, he offers more than 15 years of experience in the telecom industry with a focus on channel leadership, developing successful channel programs and arming partners with winning solutions.

Partners receive personalized local support and technical assistance along with a variety of tools and resources to help them identify opportunities, grow revenues and strengthen customer relationships.

This news falls a few months after two major announcements for Wilcon. In April, the company released news about its agreement to be acquired by Crown Castle International, and in May, it launched its Rapid Connect service, which allows for quick, cost-effective turn-up of network infrastructure.
